Required Equipment

- Pillow for neck support as needed.

Starting Position
|
- Lying on a firm surface or bed with the legs in a hook lying position (knees bent).

Procedure
|
- Bridging consists of lifting the buttocks up off and then in a controlled fashion lowering the hips back to the starting hook lying position.
|
Coaching Keys
|
- The movement should be smooth and controlled. Avoid any jerking or ballistic type movement.

How It Should Feel
|
- You should feel this move working the hamstrings, buttocks and hips as you raise your pelvis from the starting position
